Bio

Linus Bronge (b. 1989), resides and work in Stockholm, Sweden) is best known for his intimate oil paintings of interiors and human figures. His artworks are in steady conversation with the history and connotations of figure painting, marked by an atmosphere of both mystery and unease. Displaying scenes that seem to continue outside the frame, and begging the viewer to solve a puzzle that may turn out to be inherently unsolvable.

Bronge is represented by Galleri Artem in Stockholm, Sweden and featured in various private collections.
